This is being caught by the person who pickpocketed you so now your in a conversation with them which pauses both characters for all intents and purposes, removing items from his inventory at your leisure (with no character skill or item needed) and then continuing the conversation afterwards. You should be blocked from adding or removing items from a characters inventory while they are in conversation (with the sole exception being pickpocketing which would allow an ally character to pickpocket the items out of your pocket achieving the same effect with out the cheese) You put an item into your pocket then its magically removed, travels through space and time and ends up in your friends pocket who isn't even in the same zone as you?
